My days at school often don't go to plan, and you never know what might come up next. As the schools caretaker I can be found doing all sorts of things.

After almost 2 years I've seen little faces grow up, new ones have come along, and the conversations have continued to provide entertainment. All the staff help make this a great place for the students, and myself, to come to every day.

I have been involved with Wairakei Primary School since we moved here permanently in 2003.

My children Fergus and Kelsey completed their primary education at the school, and Blue and I were always involved with working bees, some of the school projects, repair jobs and rugby.
